Dr. Julia Whitfield BVM&S, MRCVS graduated from the University of Edinburgh, Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, with a focus on Wildlife Medicine, Pathology and Animal Welfare & Behavior. She is a standing member of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and her passion and dedication to Wildlife Conservation has taken her to Africa to work with Lions, Rhinos, Buffalo and Zebra, to Central America to work with Scarlet Macaws, Crocodiles, Peccaries and Howler Monkeys, to the UK to work with Foxes, Badgers, and Swans, and of course, with Black Bears here at home.
Julia has joined us at Whistler Photo Safaris to further her understanding of Ursus behavior and habitat taxonomy while using this opportunity to pass on her knowledge and to share stories with our guests of her unique experiences working with exotic species around the globe.
